I discovered my love for design while studying at Eastern Washington University, where I earned my Bachelor of Design in Visual Communications along with a UX/UI certificate in 2020. What started as a fascination with how things look quickly evolved into an obsession with how things work—and more importantly, how design can solve real problems for real people.
After graduation, I worked in fast-paced agency environments and hands-on roles that taught me the value of strategic thinking. From leading digital marketing for a six-location coffee company to directing complete rebrands for nonprofits, I've learned that the best design isn't just beautiful—it's purposeful, accessible, and rooted in understanding the people who'll use it.
These days, I bring that same human-centered approach to every project. Whether I'm designing a loyalty program interface that actually makes sense, creating a brand identity that tells a compelling story, or building a website that works for everyone (yes, including people using screen readers), my goal is always the same: make things that work beautifully and look good doing it.
When I'm not designing, you'll find me exploring Iowa's trails, experimenting with new coffee brewing methods (former Digital Marketing Director at Java House, so it's basically required), or staying way too current on design trends and accessibility best practices.
